--------------------------------------------------------------------------- No-Looting: The Western Council was concerned that people would join the War Effort just to make a personal profit -- using the war as an excuse to attack rich Easterners in Banzeel or Marakeel (and making off with their stuff). Therefore, they decided to enforce a strict no-looting policy for the duration of the war. Normally, Western adventurers are allowed to keep any items and equipment they gain from an adventure (after all, they earned it by defeating evil people or monsters). During the war, however, all treasure is to be brought back to the Western camp. The Westerners in charge will then determine what is to be done with the treasure. Obviously, this policy is difficult to enforce, and has many loopholes; the important thing to note is that the West is making it clear to the Empire that the war is being fought over moral rather than economic issues. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Rahul
