Biography

I am working at Pixar Animation Studios as a Technical Director Resident. I received my MS degree in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, and my BS degree in EECS at University of California Berkeley. I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Adam Bargteil, Prof. Jessica Hodgins, and Prof. James O'Brien. I am also a SIGGRAPH 2009 technical papers reviewer and I reviewed a physics-based simulation paper.

Fluid Simulation

I implemented a fluid simulator with using Adam Bargteil's surface tracking code. Here is a list of papers I consulted.

 

Meshless deformations based on shape matching

I like this paper because their algorithm is fast and stable. I used lapack/lapack++ to do the Eigen/Polar Decomposition. The duck model is borrowed from the DefCol Studio.
