Eugene's research interests

My research interests are in various aspects of artificial intelligence, including machine learning, planning, problem solving, automated problem reformulation, e-commerce applications, medical applications, and theoretical foundations of artificial intelligence. My interests also include computational geometry and algorithm theory.

I am currently working on an intelligent system for automated allocation of offices and related resources, in both crisis and routine situations; this work is part of the RADAR project, aimed at creating an automated general-purpose assistant for office managers. I am also working on the RAPID project, focused on identifying both known and surprising patterns in large-scale repositories of uncertain intelligence data.
