() We have developed an (XML-based) representation for space-allocation 
and resource-allocation tasks, which allows representing a variety of
space-allocation problems (not only conference-related allocations).

() We have begun work on API for communications between the Space-Time
module and other modules, but this work is not yet completed.

() We have built a very preliminary version of an optimizer for space/time
allocations, which supports a limited subset of the general representation.

() We have developed (on paper) preliminary algorithms for preference
elicitation, but we have not yet implemented these algorithms.
