I am a fourth year PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute. Prior to entering the PhD program, I received a B. C.Sc. at the University of Manitoba, with a double major in Computer Science and Psychology. I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Can collaborative activities be supported by an intelligent system?How can intelligent tutoring be applied to ill-defined domains?
In my spare time, I love to travel. I fence (sabre), play tennis, attempt basketball, and occasionally pretend I can figure skate. I enjoy all forms of dancing, but salsa in particular.
