Computational Molecular Biology and Genomics Project Presentations

The last day of class will be devoted to presentations of the project topics. The topics you have selected cover a range of emerging problems in computational genomics. The goal is to give an overview of new research in genomics to the rest of the class.

Computational project talks

• All group members must speak
• Duration for groups of two: 20 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions.
• Ten to twenty slides covering
  • A statement of the problem to be solved
  • Background and signficance
  • Data and methods
  • Results
  • Summary: what you learned, problems encountered, recommendations future work
