The soc.support.youth.gay-lesbian-bi newsgroup is a place where lesbian, gay and bisexual young people can express their feelings in a friendly forum and where they can seek advice and friendship from people who can understand the difficulties of growing up in a homophobic society.

Queer Youth is a part of the Queer Resources Directory focussing on resources of particular interest to young people.

Youth Assistance Organization is an online service, run by volunteers, to help lesbian, gay and bisexual young people.

!OutProud!, The National Coalition for Gay, Lesbian & Bisexual Youth provides advocacy, information, resources and support.

Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is a nationwide organization providing support for families that are learning to understand and accept their lesbian, gay, and bisexual children. There are PFLAG support groups all over the United States. The contact number for the group here in Pittsburgh is (412) 363-8839.

The P.E.R.S.O.N. Project works to bring accurate and unbiased information about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people to America's youth as part of public school education.
