 There are several gay and gay-related organizations at CMU.  The main student
organization for lesbians, gays
and bisexuals is

cmuOUT is recognized and sometimes funded by the 
Student Senate and has wide name
recognition on campus.

 ALLIES
is a recognized student organization that seeks to support lesbians, 
gays and bisexuals at Carnegie Mellon. ALLIES meetings are a forum 
for discussions of issues related to sexuality.

ALGBE (the Association of Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Employees) is the only staff / 
faculty
lesbigay group at Carnegie Mellon.  It is little more than a mailing list at this time, 
and is maintained by me.
