This is the first page of a six page document, HCO Bulletin 1 July
1971R, revised 11 January 1989, "The Different Types of Word Clearing", found in
Subject Volume 2 of the "tech volumes". The tech volumes are a
central part of what Scientology considers its sacred
scripture. HCO bulletins are printed in red ink on white paper. Notice that the "auditor" (Scientology counsellor) is using an E-meter, and the student is holding the electrodes in her hands. The notation F/N in the text at the bottom of the page means "floating needle", a specific indication on the E-meter dial. VGIs means "Very Good Indications", e.g., smiles and a positive affect: the student is happy because she feels she has achieved some sort of insight. |
