As part of the lawsuit they have going against me, they sent me a thick mess of material which I did not even ask for--disclosures they said. Well, in this package was close to an inch of NOTs, the "masked" versions they had to submit to the copyright office. The thing is striped at 45 deg. with about three letters showing and three blanked, plus a mess of blacked out spots. From context these seem to be mostly "BT". There is actually a *lot* of data here, nearly half the letters and the spacing (10 chars/inch). A dictionary and some perl scrips which look for double and triple word combinations would make very short work of this. I really have not put in enough time to get it all, I have perhaps 70-80% of it. Anyway, here is a *fair use* sample from NOTs 23 (which was *not* posted to the net): 1 123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890 The a_g _me ism _bt ke s_an There's a group mechanism where BTs make ridges and 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890 es oth Ts_ _and g_t at_a et_s k_and masses and other BTs and being the and get stuck and There are a few places were there are multiple words possible-- for example "group" could be "ghost." I have been too busy lately to get the rest of the words out from under the mask, but I *very* much doubt a group effort on a.r.s would fail to get nearly all of them, certainly enough to blow the trade secret argument. I am going to file this along with another motion to modify my injunction. It would seem rather odd to be forbidden to quote material which the RTC lawyers sent me in my defense. Keith Henson
