Robot
Challenge! |
|
The Mobile robot programming class
had a final challenge where they had to program the robots to learn a
maze and then navigate through the maze to a series of goals.
After the competition we let the student release some frustration on
an amigobot pinata. We had a great time!

Under
the Sea |

We watched this cuttle fish
for about 30 minutes. During that time it caught about three
fish with two extremely long tenticles. It could also change
colors. Sometimes it would look like a rock or sand. When
threatened it turned blue on the edges.

The first english thing
we saw in Qatar was this sign. This store is parallel to the
airport runway, and we saw it as we were about to land in this
country. This really has been a "good year." |

No trip to the dunes is complete
without a belly full of good cooking from Rick's Kountry
Kitchen. The serve great omletes and authentic buscuits and
sausage gravy.
