| Sherwin’s
Good Bye
|
|
A good friend of ours is
leaving Doha. We are very sad to see him
go but we are happy to know that he is going home to a job that is much
closer to his family in the Philippines.
We had a send off party for him. We
ate Subway, various side dishes and wrapped it up with a really good
strawberry cake. After most
of the visitors went home for the evening we had Sherwin, Arnel and
Joseph stick around for a couple of games of Skip Bo.

Qatar
Total Open
|
|
One thing
Qatar
has going for it is its sporting events.
This week the Women’s Qatar Total Open has been going on.
Last year we went to see the men play with David’s
grandfather. This year we
went to see the women play. We
missed Martina Hingis but we did see a really good doubles game.
