Nightingale has survived every member of the initial party. That's certainly worth something. He drove Sir Brian, my first character, to leave the party rather than provoke a conflict with him. He survived the conflict that killed Keith's first character by sheer toughness; he survived the conflict that killed Aber and Gor by ditching the rest of the party at the first opportunity. Not only did he survive the midnight raid on Lord Caladon's estate, but by staying out of the initial conflict he was the only character to leave that mission with double-digit hit points. And, in fact, by doing so he was able to force the party to do what he wanted with the reward from that raid, making him the only party member to successfully complete any mission objective. By a process of character attrition and recreation Nasri has now converted almost the entire party to a group that supports his character's objectives. (The lone exception, Torek, is crippled by the loss of his bodyguard and surrounded by Nightingale's allies.) From what I can tell, it seems that he has also sideswiped any semblance of a plot or a party objective that the campaign may have originally had. Thus I think that Nightingale is clearly in the best situation by far of any current party member. I would like to propose that we end this campaign at the present situation, declare Nasri the winner, and ask him to never ever do that again. -Dan
