I am a Ph.D. candidate in the
Machine Learning Department,
School of Computer Science at
Carnegie Mellon University
since Fall 2007. Since September 2009, I work in the field of Cancer Genetics, studying and developing computational models and algorithms for the evolution of breast and lung cancer. I am
happy to be working under the supervision
of
Prof. Russell Schwartz and
Prof. Gary L. Miller.
My main research interests lie in the fields of Computational Biology, Theory (Algorithms, Spectral Graph Theory, Geometry) and Machine Learning (Manifold Learning).
During the first two years, I had the luck to work with
Prof. Christos Faloutsos on data mining (tensors, graphs, Hadoop).
