In the fall of 2000, I attended college at Carnegie Mellon University. Shortly after arriving, I agreed to drive buggy for the Sigma Nu fraternity house and became good friends with many of the brothers including my boyfriend, Dirk. Even though college course work was much more difficult than I could have ever imagined, I graduated in the spring of 2004 with a BS in Computer Science and an additional major in Psychology. In order not to waste any time, I stayed in Pittsburgh with my wonderful boy and started work at CMU the day after graduation. Although the transition from college student to adult was harder than I expected, the rewards of having a little more money and a little more time helped me through :-)
The past year has been eventful. I was engaged in December 2004, bought a duplex in Regent Square in April, and adopted a German Shepherd puppy, Sierra, in May. Needless to say, my schedule is now filled with working, wedding planning, house fixing, and dog training. Luckily I find most these things enjoyable.
