I'm a 2nd year Ph. D. student at LTI, SCS. My advisor is Richard M. Stern. I'm a member of Roubst Speech Recognition Group, which is a part of CMU Speech. I graduated from Seoul Sience High School in 1994. I got my B. S. and M. S. in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University in 1998 and 2001 respectively. Before coming to CMU, I was with EdumediaTek, SK Teletech, and LG Electronics.

Hobby

One of my hobbies is collecting data on warships. Think about enormous metal castles. I'm much interested in WW1 and WW2 battleships. I also played games like "Navyfield".
My another hobby is playing the piano. The followings are some samples of my play with a low-priced portable digital piano. Even thoguh they were rather poorly played (There are some terrible mistakes and the performance is not quite refined), please enjoy them.
