Instructor: Peter Steenkiste
Units: 2
Description:
The seminar on "Current Research Topics in Computer Systems" is a
weekly seminar in which graduate students present their research
results. Each students typically makes two presentations each
semester. The purpose of the seminar is to give students a forum in
which they can improve their speaking skills in front of a friendly
audience and in which they can get feedback on both preliminary
research ideas and more mature research results. The seminar covers a
wide range of topics in computer systems. In recent years, the focus
has been on networking, mobile computing, network-awareness, and
compilers.
