Heated Scuba Diving

As a part of a SCUBA refresher course we took in November 2000, my brother Jeff and I went diving at Mount Storm, a heated, man-made lake in West Virginia. The lake was built to be the source of cooling water for the coal power plant in the background, but because the water is about 80 degrees all the time, it attracts a lot of divers during the cold season. The suits were still necessary, however, because the air was still freezing.

After we'd been there a while, the sun finally came out..
