This is my compilation of cool (kewl), nifty, spiffy, trippy, groovy, and otherwise awesomely interesting links to virtual places far and wide. Comments? Opinions? Links I ought to have? Links I ought to not have? Mail me!
- RGB Hex Triplet Color Chart -- this was a really handy reference to have when I was working out my pages.
- The Garden of Forking Paths is a set of pages about the life, works, and philosophies of J.L. Borges
- Illuminations is the amazing home page of Richard Shand, who I don't know but merely admire from afar
- This is the really-quite-ordinary home page of Computer Science 51, Harvard's killer intro CS class, which I passed! WooHoo!
- I'm really not sure which religion (if any) I belong to at the moment, but in my wanderings about the web I've run across a few really interesting philosophies, some serious and some not-so-serious:
- alt.thinking.hurts homepage -- the title says it all
- The Noncyclopedia of Cyberspace is, according to its homepage, "the largest non-existing philosophical society of the netage." What a distinction!
- Introduction to HTML isn't as original as some of the other sites in this list, but it's a lot more useful, especially for folks like me who can never remember if the emphasis tag is "em" or "emph" or even just "italics."
- As a kid, I read a ton of Nancy Drew books. Don't laugh! They were good stuff for a couple of years there.
- I'm an Aries! What're you? Check out your horoscope at Dave Michael's Astro Logical Services Page, or order a free complete star chart from him!
- The Electric Postcard Rack -- it's easy, it's quick, it's friendly and caring, and best of all, it's free! Is it your roommate's birthday? Your parents' anniversary? Did your best friend just fail her orgo exam? Do you know someone who just graduated from highschool or college? Do you hate snailmail? If you answered "yes" to any of those . . . well, you can guess what the rest of that sentence is ;)
That's it for now (I have to do something besides work on these web pages, you know -- eating and sleeping are good things every now and again). But these ought to keep you busy for awhile. Ciao!
