Washington, DC, 2002
It's our 2nd visit to Thomas' parents, Nada and Tom's lovely house
in Washington. Nada surely fed us well (hm I can still taste the yummy
banana bread...).
So we ran into the big annual motorcycle parade for Veterans
Day in DC. According to the news thousands of heavy bikes went
into DC. |

And we went to visit Nada and Tom's old neighbor, Mrs. Beers,
who is over 100-year old now! (from left: Mrs. Beers, Nada,

But the amazing thing is Mrs. Beers still remembered that Thomas
is in a university doing computer stuff - and that is a good
thing! Smile, Mrs. Beers - you're on INTERNET! (the far right
