I'm currently working on the Storyteller project in text-to-speech, attempting to create synthetic voices that can read story texts as naturally as possible.
Background:
I have a B.A. in lingustics and philosophy from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. At the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, I worked as a research programmer on the Mallard project, a quizzing and course information application. I also studied NLP there with Professor Richard Sproat.
