How to transcribe remotely

Things to keep in mind while transcribing:

Listen carefully to what is being said. There is no feed/machine speech involved in CALO_DATA.
When you can hear a person talking to someone else use: #crosstalk begin# #crosstalk end#
Whenever you come across a word you don't understand (names for example), email Bano.

Frequently asked questions about transcriptions:

1. Transcribe CALO as "CALO" not as "C_A_L_O" since it is pronounced "kay-lo", and not spelled out when speaking.
2. When someone stutters and says yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, it is a false start, so it should be transcribed using a <...>: " yeah"
3. When people say kay or k instead of okay, transcribe as [kay (okay)]. Make sure to have one space between "kay" and "(okay)"
4. When people say "ok" transcribe as "okay" not "ok".
5. Transcribe "preprocessing" as a single unhyphenated word.
6. Transcribe RAID as "RAID" if pronounced that way, or "R. A. I. D." if it is spelled out by the speaker. Note the capitalization.
