Devanagari to CMUDict Converter

TTS systems, such as Festival, often mispronounce Indian words. This online tool allows you to create a lexicon for words you may want to synthesize. Enter Devanagari text (UTF8) and get lexical entries in the CMUDict format as output.

English Voice and Talking Head

This is an online demonstration of my voice speaking in English. It has a talking head (my face). You can make it say stuff in my voice, and even make me sing!

Software

Flite for Android

Flite (Festival lite) is a small, fast runtime synthesis engine optimized for small devices. You can download flite, or read more about it on the Flite webpage. I am working on an android app that makes Flite available as a plug-in to the TTS library being developed by Google.

Voice Databases

My speech recordings are available for download. This data has been recorded at the CMU Recording studio. The wav files are clean recordings at 16KHz mono. These databases are released under the Creative Commons license.
