About Me

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my always –approximate webpage. As we all know, completing a webpage is an NP-Complete problem, hence, I don’t aspire to do that in a reasonable time unless P=NPQ.E.D.  (if you buy this argument, you need to look here)

I moved to work as a Research Scientist at Yahoo! Research, Santa Clara office since June 2011. I was a Ph.D. student in the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University.  I worked with Prof. Eric Xing. My random walk in the world is [Cairo Magdeburg Cairo Urbana-Champaign Pittsburgh → Santa Clara] I am sure that this is not Markovian! I got my BSc. And MSc. in Computer Engineering from Cairo University. I then moved to start my PhD in the Department of Computer Science at the University of  Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I spent two years at UIUC and then transfered to CMU and got my Phd in 2011.
