National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents

‘NODET’ is the written abbreviation for "National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents". The organization is responsible for gifted schools in Iran. Every year, the National Organization holds two national exams to select the students to continue studying in the National Organization’s affiliated centers. One of these exams is the middle school’s entrance exam and the other one is the high school’s entrance exam Each exam has two stages and the test material is combination of intelligence, creativity, science (physics, chemistry, and Biology) and math knowledge. Through this process, about 3 percents of students will be accepted from all over the country; separately for boys and girls. I was accepted both exams in 2004 and 2007 respectively.

Sharif University of Technology

Sharif University is the rank one among all the technological univesities in Iran. To be able to get an addmission to this university, it is necessary to take an exam called Konkoor which about 100,000 students participate in. If you want to attend Sharif University, you need to be among first 1000 people. I ranked 238 and attended this university in 2011 in software engineering major.

RoboCup 2009

RoboCup competitons are the most important robotic competition in the world. I participated in this competition for the first time when I was a high school student. My team members and I decided to participate in simulation league which is for university and college students. We worked really hard and in spite of lack of information and skills, we managed to get 3rd place.

RoboCup 2012

RoboCup competitons are the most important robotic competition in the world. I participated in this competition for the second time when I was a university student as the team leader. All the members of our team were high school student and I led them to participate in a simulation league which is for university and college students. We got 5th place in 2012 competition.

RoboCup 2013

RoboCup competitons are the most important robotic competition in the world. I participated in this competition for the third time when I was a university student as the team leader. All the members of our team were high school student and I led them to participate in a simulation league which is for university and college students. We got 4th place in 2013 competition.

Sharif Java Challenge

Java challenge is the competition for college and university students to measure their ability and knowledge in Java programming language. I participated in this competition for the first time in 2013 and our team got 2nd place among all the teams from all the universities of Iran.

CMU

Carnegie Mellon University has always been amongst top 5 schools in computer sciense. Getting accepted among hundreds of applicants in this amazing school is a true honor.

Presidential Fellowship

The Presidential Fellowship Program provides important financial support to recruit and retain outstanding graduate students, whose work here will ensure that Carnegie Mellon maintains its position as an international leader in graduate education and research. I became the recipient of the presidential fellowship for 2017-2018 academic year.

Research and Work Experience

I worked for several years before applying for PhD and currently I am mostly doing research

Institute for Software Research

PhD Student

I am currently working on two projects. The first one is called SearchRepair and it is an automatic program repair tool which generates high quality patches by replacing the buggy fragment of code with a correct implementation that is already written by developers in maybe some other project. In the second project we want to make robots self-adaptive, in collaboration with a large number of people. Adaptivity at the code level and detection of anomalies in the robot are parts of this huge project.
