AsTeR --Audio System For Technical Readings-- is a computing system for rendering technical documents in audio.  AsTeR was developed by <a href="http://www.cs.cornell.edu/Info/People/raman/aster/raman.html"> <img align="middle" src="http://www.cs.cornell.edu/Info/People/raman/aster/raman.gif" alt="T. V. Raman"></a> for his  <a href="http://www.cs.cornell.edu/Info/People/raman/aster/aster-thesis.ps">  PhD.
