PhD in Computer Science with Minor in ACO |
Students receiving a Ph.D. in Computer Science with Minor in ACO must take (a) the CS requirement of 5 area star courses, (b) 2 elective courses in CS, and (c) 3 courses from the union of Math and the Tepper School of Business (minis counting as 1/2 of a course) with the condition of at least one course in each. (I.e., you could take 4 minis in TSB and 1 course in Math, or 2 minis in TSB and 2 courses in Math). The list of eligible courses is given here (you may use core or elective courses). Students are also expected to actively participate in the ACO seminar. Any student in the CS PhD program may elect to pursue a minor in ACO at any time during their graduate studies.
Procedures: Talk to Deb Cavlovich to have yourself officially listed as progressing towards the minor.
