ROBOTICS

Robotics students enjoy programming for Arduino in Wiring, a C-like language. We explore electronics, machine and tool use, sensors and robot design--preparation for proposing and building a capstone project. Students work with instructors to acquire the specialized skills and equipment required for their projects. During the final three weeks of Leap, students propose and work on their projects. During the final week they complete and debug, fixing any technical difficulties in preparation for final presentations on the last day of the program.

On the last day, parents, families and friends join us at Leap. The program includes a lecture by Dr. Steven Rudich, an enjoyable and discussion-rich lunch, and the final project presentations prepared by all our talented Leapers.
