Research Experience for Undergraduates Programs
Brief description: The CMU Usable Privacy and
Security Laboratory (CUPS) was established in the Spring of 2004 to bring
together Carnegie Mellon University researchers working on a diverse set
of projects related to understanding and improving the usability of privacy
and security software and systems. CUPS supports undergraduate students
working with graduate students and faculty on a variety of research projects: REU logistics: Students are provided a stipend and shared office with borrowed computer. (Students are responsible for their own room and board as well as any travel expenses to and from Carnegie Mellon University.) Schedule: Fall 2004, Spring 2005, Summer 2005 (anticipated).
