Password Meter Wins USENIX Best Paper Award

A team of CyLab researchers have devised an advanced password meter that makes use of an artificial neural network to calculate the strength of passwords. The study by researchers from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Institute for Software Research won the Best Paper Award at the USENIX Security Symposium.
