Across the Homestead
Bridge is a new commerical development called the Waterfront. It's
a great place to go to get a bite to eat, see a movie, play games,
get wet at the waterslide park, or just shop.
What you will find:
Loew's Theater
with 22 movie theaters, a restaurant, bar, and cafe cine under one
roof.
Dave and Buster's
has billiard tables, video games, pinball, shared multi-player virtual
reality games, a restaurant, bar, and more.
Sandcastle Water Park
has 15 different water slides, a lazy river, children and adult
pools, hot tub and boardwalk with eateries.

How to get there from
Carnegie Mellon:
By bus:
- Take the 61C to Homestead; get off the bus at 8th Avenue stop;
take the 59A or 64A around the Waterfront complex or walk from
8th Avenue.
- Take the 59U (only runs on Saturday and Sunday).
By car, take Forbes
Avenue going toward Squirrel Hill. Make a right on Murray Avenue.
Take Murray Avenue until it intersects with Hazelwoold Avenue. Make
a left on Hazelwood Ave, then a right onto Browns Hill Road. Browns
Hill Road turns into Hi-Level Bridge. Follow the signs to the Waterfront.
