1992 VASC TPC
The second event of the second year of the VASC Golf Tour took
place recently at Saxon Golf Course in rural western PA.
This event, The VASC TPC, marked a changing of the gaurd within the
elite players of the VASC Tour. For the first time Takeo `The Golden
Bear' Kanade failed to win the event. He was upset by Dean `The White
Shark' Pomerleau. Also close on Kanade's tail were Chuck `E-Cheese'
Thorpe and Ben `I-haven't-played-golf-in-a-year-so-give-me-a-high-
handicap' Brown. Also in the hunt were Dave `Monster Driver' Simon,
Dirk `Bernhardt' Langer and Katsu `Big Daddy' Ikeuchi.
It may not be accurate to label Pomerleau's victory as an upset for
this reporter overheard The Shark saying to his caddie "Well, now
that I'm on faculty and don't have to kiss up to the old guy, he'll
never be within 5 strokes of me. I hope he has his Senior Tour card
ready." When told of this remark, The Bear was visibly shaken.
As tears streamed down his face he could be heard mumbling something
about all the years he gave to his understudy and the lack of respect
he was now receiving. It is speculated that The Bear`s career could
well be over. He will surely be missed......

Takeo Kanade's Reponse
I have filed an official complaint to the Americal Sports Writers
Association about the reporter who, reporting on VASC 92 TPC, wrote a
vastly malicious article which misled many fans throughout the world
to uneasy speculations about my future golf career.
I announce that I will stay in the VASC Tour and vow to come back as
a strong contender with The Shark and others for the Tournament
Title.
