We need a VASC WebMaster!

  • Lots of VASC documentation is already online, but in FrameMaker format. Someone should port WebMaker or Frame2html to the IUS suns. Done!!
  • Once all the documentation is online, how can you find what you need? Someone should provide a WAIS index of all our Web information
  • Would be nice to have all man pages online and indexed; a man2html and other text converters are also available
  • We should establish www.ius.cs.cmu.edu on an IUS sun to provide access to special-purpose demos. Easy to interface! e.g., easy to set up a filter to run the Canny edge detector on any URL Done!!
