This directory contains the files necessary for formatting NIPS papers
using LaTeX or TROFF.

LaTeX users will need the files nips.tex and nips.sty.  

TROFF users will need the file nips.troff.  This contains the full set of
macros you'll need, but a somewhat abbreviated set of instructions compared
to nips.tex, so please refer to the printed style sheet you received with
your author kit.

There is also a PostScript file called nips.ps (compiled from nips.tex)
which you can retrieve and print out if you want to see the style sheet
without going to the trouble of running LaTeX.
