CMU Pilots' Video Lending Library -- Ground Rules - Anyone at CMU can borrow tapes. - The normal checkout period is one week, and you can renew by email to dst@cs.cmu.edu. - Borrower records are PUBLIC information, so if you check out a tape and hold on to it, other folks may ask to borrow it from you. - There is no charge for using the library, but contributions are encouraged. - The ideal contribution would be for you to purchase a tape and deposit it in the library. YOU MAY RETAIN OWNERSHIP, IF YOU WISH. You may reclaim any tapes you own, any time you like. - Cash contributions are also accepted. We'll use the money to buy tapes, of course. - The AOPA Air Safety Foundation has a series of videotapes that would be a great addition to the library. They're $20 each. A catalog is available from AOPA, or see Dave Touretzky for recommendations. Dave can get tapes at a CFI discount rate, so you may want to order through him.
