KSR SETTLES SUIT AS CEO KOCH UPS ANTE BY $25 MILLION
============================================================================

   William I. Koch, chairman and CEO ad interim of Kendall Square Research
(KSR), announced today that Kendall Square and other defendants will pay
over $5 million to settle a stockholder suit as CEO Bill Koch adds $25
million to his commitment. This will give him a 47 percent stake (a total
of $65 million) in KSR, whose estimated 1993 revenues may fall below $15
million. Koch is perhaps best known for his successful defense of the
America's Cup in 1992. Full details in Norris Parker Smith's analysis in
tomorrow's issue (Friday) of HPCwire.
