The Department of Computer Science And Engineering

invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant
Professor level in computer engineering. Applicants should have a
background and interest in one or more of the following areas: Intelligent
Agents, Object-Oriented Systems, Databases or Hardware Systems.
A Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
or related area is required. The successful applicant will have
demonstrated ability to perform research individually and within a group of
other investigators, and will have excellent teaching potential. He or she
will be expected to contribute to the teaching and research goals of the
department, and to the development of the department and the University by
being involved in service activities.
