Faculty Positions

Applications are invited for FOUR (4) tenure track positions at the ranks of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science of Stevens Institute of Technology, starting either January 1, or August 1, 1997.

The CS Department has 8 full-time faculty members. Outstanding candidates in Software Engineering, Object-Oriented Technologies, Computer Graphics or Database Systems will be considered. Exceptional candidates in all other areas of computer science will also be considered.

Successful candidates are expected to pursue an active research program, perform both graduate and undergraduate teaching and supervise graduate students. The Institute offers both undergraduate programs and graduate programs at the Masters and the Ph.D. level. Prospective faculty can look forward to a dynamic research environment in which collaboration with industry is encouraged. Stevens is located in Hoboken, NJ, across the Hudson River from the Empire State Building in Manhattan.
