The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Old Dominion University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level beginning August 1997. Highest preference will be given to a computer engineer with interest and experience in object technology, high level system/domain architectures, and distributed simulation. Advantages of ODU include convenient access to nearby DoD and NASA research facilities. There are opportunities for the successful candidate to develop a sponsored research program in conjunction with ODU's newly established Virginia Modeling Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC). VMASC will be investigating technology transfer to commercial simulation applications and tools.
