Faculty Search - Massachusetts Institute of Technology

MIT's School of Engineering has the top rated undergraduate and graduate
programs in the nation. A faculty position here has many advantages:
excellent, motivated students; an atmosphere of intellectual stimulation
and teamwork; leading edge, integrated approaches to the design,
implementation and operation of complex, information intensive systems;
industry influence via high level committees; and extensive collaboration
with business and government. MIT offers faculty consulting privileges one
day a week, and many consulting opportunities and funded research projects
are available.

The Aeronautics & Astronautics Dept has a number of openings for tenure
track assistant professors and full or part time adjunct positions. This
highly multidisciplinary dept leads in the design and development of
complex aircraft, space, transportation, information and telecommunication
