The Computer Science Department of Georgetown University invites applications for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level to begin in the fall of 1997. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field and should have research interests in one or more of the following areas: graphics, artificial intelligence, or digital signal processing. Since the department currently offers only a B.S. in computer science, in addition to research excellence, a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching is essential.
