Assistant or Associate Professor

Computer Science: Assistant or Associate Professor. Tenure-track position. Ph.D. in computer science or closely related field required. Must have expertise in at least one of the following areas: networking, multimedia, object-oriented and client/server computing, workflow systems. Experience in industry desirable. Must be able to teach full range of undergraduate computer science courses to adult evening and traditional daytime undergraduates and play a key role in curriculum development, advising, and encouragement of student research. Undergraduate teaching experience required; experience in teaching adult students highly desirable. Teaching load is 24 credits per year, some of which will be in the evening and may include summer school. Review of applications will begin March 1, 1997.
