Camp Venture is in need of talented, patient individuals to help train and mentor World Weavers' new writers. CV Staff must have a good knowledge of at least one world, good writing skills, and the ability to explain how cooperative fiction works to new writers.

The World Weavers Admins are looking for help in the public relations department. That is, there is no public relations department. But there should be. PR staff should have good knowledge of at least one world; be willing to write and place advertisements for WW and component worlds; and be reliable and able to work well with others. To volunteer, please email Mia Sherman <shatavari@flashcom.net>.

We have a great many excellent writers in World Weavers, as everyone should be aware already. And what better way to tell someone than to nominate them for one of the World Weavers Awards?

Visit the Awards page at http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~roboman/awards.html to view the past winners, current nominees, and to submit your own nominations for next year's awards. Remember, you can nominate for any post in any unit written between June 1, 1999 and May 31, 2000, and it's completely anonymous.

If you like a post you read, tell the author. And then visit the form and nominate it for the Y2K Weaver Awards!
