Special Writing Awards
(These are for posts or events which make a significant impact, but were not necessarily eligible for one of the earlier categories. They may also be for multiple posts.)
for a post which gives everyone a major new insight into a character
for introducing something new, whether character, subplot, place, or object, which dramatically affects future play
for a post which influences the entire direction of a plot, without ignoring what has gone before
for untangling a seemingly hopeless contradiction
for involving as many characters as possible in a single post, without forcing it
(These are not listed as award categories, but were suggested by the players and admins in these units.)
Previous years Special Recognition categories have included: Liveliest Dead Guy, Out Of The Closet? and Most Creative Use of Leather (USS CALVIN); Best Interruption and Steamiest Posts (DAERE Warren); Best Concluding Line (USS OBERON); Funniest In-Jokes (USS CALYPSO) and Best Romantic Couple (WHITERIVER Warren).
for outstanding effort by a player, not restricted to one unit
For weaving beautiful, engaging stories and exhibiting the best qualities of both a player and a mentor. Previous recipients are not eligible for this award.
For weaving fascinating and complex relationships between characters in multiple units. Previous recipients not eligible.
For consistently posting when other players have run out of ideas
For developing into a beautiful writer and inspirational player while writing with us in World Weavers. Previous recipients not eligible.
For willingness to give up personal plot ideas, postpone plans, etc., in order to pick up someone else's thread and carry it along for the good of the unit
(These awards are all for players who have contributed greatly to the running of the club itself, or distinguished themselves in ways unrecognized in other categories.)
For stepping in when a previous admin leaves or steps down, and keeping a unit alive or reviving it. Must provide a unit name!
As above, but for an entire World Weavers realm. Must provide a world name!
