Subject: ITT Hartford - Domestic Partner Benefits

ITT Hartford has announced (via an internal memo a friend gave me) that:

"The company will extend eligibility for certain benefits to same-gender domestic partners of ITT Hartford employees in two phases."
They are:
  • 1997-Relocation, Family Leave, Bereavement, Employment Assistance Program
  • 1998-Health and Life Insurance
  • It also says:
    "The second phase of eligibility for health and life insurance coverage is necessary in order to allow time for systems and administrative changes necessary to support this new benefit provision. More detailed information will be provided later."
