Texas State Parks Climbing Access Documents

Climbing in Hueco Tanks and Enchanted Rock state parks in Texas is managed by limiting new route development and fixed anchor placements by means of permit and approval process. This style of management is deemed necessary by land managers, and was developed with their support by local climbers who want to preserve the character of these areas. It has proven to be a very successful solution to a difficult access issue.
