Ph.D. in Robotics and AI to be completed soon at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN). Dissertation: "Automated tuning of neural networks for mobile robots' navigation".

Postgraduate Study on Computer Science, completed in 1991 at the Institute of Mathematics, Polish Academy of Sciences (IM PAN). Topics: Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Programming Languages. Final note: A (very good).

M.Sc.
M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering received in 1990 from the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical, Power- and Aeronautical Engineering (MEiL). Major: Airborne Navigation and Control. Minors: Mechanical Engineering, Airborne Engineering, Avionics. Final note: A (very good). Awards: Dean's of the Faculty award for outstanding students received several times during studies. M.Sc. thesis "The conceptual design of a digital flight calculator".

Research towards a new method of validation and automated tuning of learning algorithms (known as Stochastic Validation and Tuning, SVT).
Development and implementation of various machine learning algorithms.

Research towards a neural architecture based on ART networks concept, capable of unsupervised, supervised and reinforcement learning.
Implementation of a large scale integrated learning system for autonomous selection of a training method and its parameters for an arbitrary learning task.

Visiting Researcher.
