Irvine Ca 92715 (c) 1991, all rights reserved. Aquisition Info: Digitized from two standard size 3" color prints from a 35 mm negative. Photos taken with a Minolta X-700, probably fitted w/ 28mm lens. Digitized with Chromascan program driving a color scanner on a Macintosh, converted by QuickGIF from PICT to GIF, ftp'd to sun workstations. Digitization done at the Dept. of Info. & Comp. Sci., Univ. of Calif., Irvine. Original .gif was 490K. Reduced version is 78K. Disparity: Produced by shifting camera (two successive exposures). Moderate disparity produced. Good for making subjects' intricate structure clearer. "Trunk" of "tree" rises up; also reasonable front-back depth. Arranged for crossed freeviewing. Comments: This is the second stereophoto I've done. I was interested in how well stereopix could be viewed on CRTs. .
