Abstract
At CMU we have perhaps the finest program in the world for teaching graduate and undergraduate students about robotics. We are discovering, however, that there is more to robotics education than teaching about robots. Students at all levels are fascinated with robots, and educators have found that teaching with robots provides a new and exciting way to motivate their students. Accordingly, robots are finding their way into the classroom to help teach science, math, mechanics, teamwork and even management skills. In this special two hour RI Seminar, 9 speakers will present a series of brief lectures on some of the many robotics education projects underway at CMU. We will conclude with a half-hour panel discussion.
