Shuttle images of Salar de Atacama. These are images that NASA Astronauts captured to show how they see the trek site. According to the Astronauts, a future manned mission to Mars may use Nomad descendents to land first and scout, while driven from Mars orbit to find interesting landing sites and ensuring astronaut safety.
